I do not know how you could make this a mod.
But for a parking program to preform at max, you need to be running catch all name servers.
So you do not lose 404 traffic, to each domain.
Maybe someone with smart scripts could dig us up some insturctions on this.

Hi,
Do you mean, for example if you had www.example.com (http://www.example.com) parked and a user tried to goto: www.example.com/page1.htm (http://www.example.com/page1.htm) then they would be redirected straight back to the www.example.com (http://www.example.com) parking page?

That is correct, this is a very valuable feature and needs to done through master zone files as far as I have found, but no clear documentation.
It needs to work both ways:
www.test.com/anything.htm to test.com
anything.test.com to test.com
Wild card Nameservers is what I have been told is the best way.
But no one has clear documentation on doing that.

OK we will look further into this and try and get it implemented into the next version. There is probably an alternative to wildcard nameservers.

I have the code for all the zone files, and everything just little rough around the edges, with some good technical help and clean up the instructions some I am user I would be able to use and everyone else as well.
I will post it if you would like to take and look and see if you could get it cleaned up some and get it to work.

Please PM or email me the code for me to look over and test. Then once we have tested it, we will post it here on the forums.

this is my first post and new here but this got my attention. there is also a better way to this if it can be done or added to next version.
I currently use fabulous for my parking and never seen any other parking provider do this, which is really cool,
what they have done is the same as above (catch all) but lets say user searched for something on google and the result on google is located at www.example.com/booking.html, so when the page is parked with fabulous and they enter the landing page of example.com/booking.html it will show them straigh away booking related feeds. so somehow they impliment a system to convert those search results into keyword and get dig it from feed.
very cool way of doing it and you get better result as click goes, there is two good point doing this
1-you never loose any indexed pages with search engines
2-always showing related keyword
If for some reason their system cant understand the url which is something like example.com/veiw=ID983498sessionblahblah and so on simply show a page the says that page is moved and redirect you to main page or you have a choice of navigation :)
here is an example of one of my parked pages, try it but please dont abuse it and dont click anything
http://www.business-broker.co.nz
now try
http://www.business-broker.co.nz/knives.html which i just made it up.
or do your own and let me know :) very cool haa?? :)
can this be added maybe in next version? :D
